The Centre for Studies in Gender and Sexuality (CSGS) at Ashoka University is offering an 8-days online training program for individuals interested in facilitating workshops on Gender and Sexuality that emphasize conversations on consent, desire, pleasures as well as issues related to identity and inequality.

Are you interested in becoming a dynamic gender and sexuality workshops facilitator?

Using experiential and participatory methods, this training program will equip the participants with an in-depth understanding of the CSGS workshop modules and provide tools and tips on how to conduct these workshops in different settings, such as schools, colleges or workplaces.

This program also offers a space to seek suggestions on how to adapt these modules into incorporate your own ideas.

With a strong emphasis on building a contextual understanding, the training will also explore the many inter-linkages of gender and sexuality with caste, disability, and media, among other themes.

This training is for:

  • Activists, practitioners, academics, facilitators, teachers, educators, POSH practitioners and human rights actors working on questions of gender, identity, sexuality, sexual harassment and consent, pleasure, gender-based violence, diversity, media and law
  • Practitioners looking to supplement their understanding of the themes mentioned above and conduct workshops/sessions on the same.
  • Anyone with the basic familiarity with gender and sexuality as critical concepts, who wishes to open up spaces for conversations on these subjects among diverse groups and organisations
